CEO Lena Okajima participated in a roundtable featuring women entrepreneurs by Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

On 16th March 2021, our CEO Lena Okajima joined a virtual roundtable featuring women entrepreneurs held by Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

Participants discussed a wide-range of topics regarding gender equality. Lena also introduced ALE's business, including contributions to the SDGs and how ALE is tackling climate change.

U.S. Secretary of State Blinken commented that the space entertainment project "Sky Canvas," including man-made shooting stars, is so intriguing that I would like to see it myself.

Regarding atmospheric data collection activities, he said, "Efforts to deal with weather changes by reading them are important. We recognize that this is something that we should continue to develop, and it is an appropriate area for collaboration between the US and Japan"

Regarding the development of space debris prevention devices, we received the following comment: "We understand that projects that seek to deal with space debris are a necessary foundation for society as we promote satellite development”.
